To address the demand for salvage logging and forest restoration we have invested in a logging side specifically designed for salvaging blowdown timber on steep slopes. Mainline can also help you with commercial timber harvesting, including implementing PUV harvests, getting you maximum return while protecting the land and environment.

Our harvest system is built on primary extraction via an aerial winch system, typically referred to as a “tong thrower” We rely on our professional fallers and rigging to navigate the brush. Our tong thrower allows us to use existing roads and minimize disturbance helping our forest land remain more intact. Secondary extraction with a log forwarder provides lightest touch extraction and minimal activity at a roadside landing. Projects can include harvesting merchantable timber and slash and debris management and removal.
